Inspirational visits to engage learners with the British Library's unique collections
Our programme of workshop for Primary , Secondary and FE learners encourages curiosity, creativity and exploration, enriching the curriculum and developing lifelong learning skills. We also offer self-guided visits for school groups, enabling independent exploration of our galleries and public spaces.
Over the next few months, we will be working on a refreshed programme for schools featuring exciting new workshops and onsite activities. Please see what is currently available to book for Primary groups or Secondary groups . Be sure to check back here for the latest updates and additions.
Our CPD events support teachers to develop subject knowledge, reinvigorate classroom practice and rediscover a passion for their subject, with conferences and twilight sessions featuring well-respected authors, academics and educational practitioners. Our website is brimming with ideas and inspiration for the classroom, from Gothic literature to medieval history and from World War One to feminism.
